Our friends with UTMB Kid’s Club have quite the fun time planned with crafts and fun like painting fireworks and making star wands!! Join us as we have a bright and sparkly celebration!
The Hygiene Harvest! With Groundswell
The Young Gardeners Program is kicking off a Back to School Hygiene Supply Drive, and we need your help!
Every Sunday in July, we will be set up at Galveston's Own Farmers Market from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM collecting hygiene essentials for local students. All donations will be distributed at the GISD Back to School event on July 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Central Middle School.
We are collecting hygiene products for elementary, middle, and high school students, including:
- Feminine hygiene products
- Undergarments and socks
- Body soap and lotion
- Deodorant
- Face wipes and body wipes
- Similar hygiene items

Birds of a Feather!w/ houston audubon society
We’ll be joined by our friends from the Houston Audubon Society! They’ll be bringing a high flying look at the amazing range of birds that inhabit the Greater Houston Gulf Coast region! Complete with activities and education about these majestic creatures and their vital habitats, come “Flock Together” with us as we strive for new heights in conservationism and awareness!
