At Faux-Moo Treats, we specialize in allergen-friendly baked goods made with inclusion and safety in mind. Founded by a mom of two children with life-threatening food allergies, our bakery was created to provide delicious treats that families with dietary restrictions can enjoy with confidence. Our products are gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and dye-free as a baseline, with many vegan and top-allergen-friendly options available as well. From cookies and muffins to cakes, cake pops, and specialty desserts, we believe everyone deserves access to fun, safe, and delicious baked goods without feeling left out.

What inspired you to start your business?
I have two kids with food allergies, and one with celiac disease, it was impossible to find treats around us that actually tasted like a dessert and less like a health food. Kids and adults want dessert that tastes like dessert itself and not like a health food- not saying those are bad but sometimes you just want a cookie!
What is your favorite thing to make/produce?
I love to bake cookies and muffins! I think it is so fun to see the look on peoples faces when they realize the treats are free from their allergens and they can safely eat them without getting sick.
Where are you from/where did you grow up?
I am from Conroe, Texas originally, moved to Florida for a year after high school, then to California, where I met my husband. We relocated back to Texas in May of 2019 because of a family emergency and have been in Galveston County ever since!

A lot of the decorating techniques I use, I learned while working at Disney World in food and beverage! My favorite time was making sweet treats at Art of Animation and helping decorate them!
