When did you first get started?
I first got started Almost 7 years ago by launching Desi Pizza as a small, community-focused concept—testing recipes at pop-ups, farmers markets, and local events.
What inspired you to start your business?
I was inspired to start Desi Pizza by my love for cooking and a desire to share Indian flavors in a fun, approachable way. Growing up around home-cooked meals and bold spices, I wanted to blend those traditions with American comfort food—especially pizza—to create something unique that brings people together through flavor, culture, and creativity.
What is your favorite thing to make/produce?
My favorite thing to make is signature Desi fusion pizzas—especially bold, flavor-forward creations that combine traditional Indian spices with classic pizza styles. I love experimenting with sauces, marinades, and toppings to create something unexpected yet comforting, which is at the heart of Desi Pizza.
