When did you first get started?
Cookie & Roll Alchemy officially began in 2025, born from a passion for baking and a desire to create comforting, gourmet treats that bring people together. What started as experimenting with bold flavors and perfecting soft, gooey textures at home quickly grew into a beloved small-batch bakery serving the Houston community.
What inspired you to start your business?
It started with a simple love for baking and the joy it brings to people. There’s something special about watching someone take that first bite and instantly light up. What began as creating treats for family and friends slowly turned into a passion for perfecting bold flavors, soft textures, and unforgettable desserts.
We wanted to turn everyday ingredients into something magical, something that feels comforting, indulgent, and made with intention.
Cookie & Roll Alchemy was born from that desire: to create sweet moments, bring people together, and prove that a little butter, sugar, and creativity can go a long way.
What is your favorite thing to make/produce?
It’s hard to choose, but there’s something magical about pulling a tray of gooey, oversized, soft, fluffy cinnamon rolls, especially the filled ones, because seeing that swirl of sweetness come together feels like edible art.

Where are you from/where did you grow up?
I currently live in Houston, Texas, but I grew up in Nigeria.
Growing up in Nigeria deeply shaped my appreciation for hospitality and the joy of sharing food with others. Community and togetherness were always at the center of celebrations, and that spirit still inspires the heart behind Cookie & Roll Alchemy today.
Now, being based in Houston allows me to blend those rich cultural influences with new ideas, creating treats that feel both comforting and exciting.

Before I ever thought about running my business, I was deep into science and research! I love precision, measurements, and experimenting, which honestly makes baking feel like delicious chemistry.
So when I’m perfecting a recipe, I’m not just baking… I’m conducting a sweet little experiment to achieve the perfect texture and flavor balance.
